Arca Polimeri’s core activity is the compounding process. Conversely, Ansa Plast is a leader in the industry, specialising in the grinding and recycling of plastic scrap.
Production and Compounds
Arca Polimeri has a high-potential production facility capable of processing 7,000 tons of compound annually.
The plant has four extrusion lines (three twin-screw and one single-screw) with production capacities ranging from 200 to 1,000 kg/h. This versatility allows Arca Polimeri to process both small batches and large production runs.
All extruders are equipped with gravimetric dosing systems, enabling the incorporation of inorganic fillers and reinforcements, such as glass fibre and talc, as well as specific additives in powder or liquid form during processing.
Moreover, thanks to more than ten homogenisation silos, Arca Polimeri can also produce blended and dry-blended products, expanding its production capacity to 10,000 tons per year.
The production process is certified to ISO 9001:2015 in all its phases, guaranteeing traceability and repeatability for every batch produced. Using dust collectors and demetallizers, Arca Polimeri can ensure high-quality standards even for recycled products.
The packaging process is optimised thanks to an automated palletising system.
Grinding and Recycling
Ansa Plast specialises in the recycling and grinding of plastic materials. With 2,000 square meters of covered area and a grinding plant with a 1,000 kg/h production capacity, Ansa Plast is the perfect partner for recovering industrial plastic waste.
Almost every type of polymer is processed, from glass fibre-reinforced polyamide to polycarbonate, from polyolefins to transparent PMMA.
Ansa Plast also works closely with Arca Polimeri, supplying most of the raw materials for the production of recycled products.
Quality control of raw materials and valorising waste are the cornerstones on which Ansa Plast has built a reliable and secure process for both Arca Polimeri and its partners.
